Slow Down
When your grass is wet or has been growing too long. You’re going to want to slow down. A slower speed on your lawn mower will ensure you get a clean cut.
Cutting Patterns
Alternating the way you cut the grass is important as your grass will learn your regular pattern. Your grass will grow healthier and even straighter as a result.
Not to short
Mowing the grass too short can leave brown patches and will strain the root systems. During our winters a good length is around 3 inches while during the warmer months a strong 2 inch cut is preferred.
