“ Having used Shady Grove from the very beginning of their conception back in 1997 when they were a lawn maintenance company and we had them do small miscellaneous planting jobs in previously own homes. Now, it was time to put them to the test with a disaster of a yard that we had acquired that had some serious water/drainage problems that had not been addressed for several years and concerned us to the point that we knew we desperately needed the experience of a landscape designer that would help us with our water problem and to provide us with a completely new design for the front of our house as well. Fern (aka: Tina) showed up with her pad and pencil and designed exactly what we were looking for and within our budget. Tina’s design included a new concrete walk way edged with limestone that flowed from the front yard to our back yard with fantastic easy care landscaping. Danny along with his installation team managed to keep the whole project on schedule and within the budget. After all was done, we were glad that Shady Grove along with their professional team could give us what we needed to bring our new home back to life. “ I had always envisioned a front patio on my late 60s construction family home. Fern helped me to enhance that vision and listened when I wanted to repurpose some brick leftover from the original house construction. She also helped to solve an ongoing drainage problem from storm gutter runoff by installing a dry creek bed. Fern and her crew are so professional and got the work done in a very timely manner. When the unexpected required additional conversation, she was very communicative and upfront without much deviation to the schedule or overall project cost. The end product is amazing! We (including our youngest feline) have been outside on the new patio and enjoying the beautiful landscaping daily since the construction was completed. Hummingbirds started to visit within days to drink from the Hosta blooms. Just a little slice of paradise where I can watch the world go by - in my own front yard. I highly recommend Shady Grove.
